Houten / Amsterdam (the Netherlands), 24 September 2019 - World premiere at the Parcel+Post Expo in Amsterdam: the Dutch system integrator VanRiet Material Handling Systems BV will be presenting its very first sorter for small parcels at the leading trade fair for the international Courier, Express and Parcel industry (CEP) at the beginning of October. A subsidiary of US-based Material Handling Systems, Inc. (MHS), VanRiet has developed a brand new sorting system tailored to the needs of the industry. The company will also be announcing the name and main functionalities of this system at the trade fair.
‘With the growing trade volumes of small items, the changes in packaging and the constant need for short delivery times, an automated solution for sorting small parcels has gone from being a mere client wish to an industry must-have,’ says Frank Engelen, Product Manager at VanRiet Material Handling Systems BV. VanRiet has recognised this development in good time and has provided a solution in the form of a new, dedicated sorting system for small parcels.
Visitors to the Parcel+Post Expo in Amsterdam can see the new product in action and get convinced: from 1 to 3 October, VanRiet will be offering its visitors live demonstrations of the sorting system at Stand 1020. Its name and main functionalities will also be revealed there. The parent company, MHS Global, and its second subsidiary, OCM, will also attend the fair and introduce a new solution there. By way of a networking opportunity, MHS will be inviting all fair visitors to a kick-off event with drinks and snacks at Stand 430 on the first day of the exhibition, Tuesday 1 October. The event starts at 5.30 p.m.
