VanRiet presents E-Commerce and CEP solutions at LogiMAT

  • Fast forwarding and sorting through automation.
  • Growth drivers are online trade and parcel services
  • Expansion of international activities

VanRiet Material Handling Systems B.V. puts the emphasis of its presence at the 2018 LogiMAT on solutions for the E-Commerce and CEP sectors. The Dutch manufacturer of automated conveying and sorting solutions foresees continued growth in these segments and has extended its product portfolio accordingly. The aim is to grow internationally. Its presence at the Stuttgart trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management should be seen as a decisive step in this direction. VanRiet does not focus exclusively on these two industries, however, and will be offering a closer look at its entire portfolio at the fair as well. The company also presents itself as a partner for systems integrators, for example. Its systems and components can be seen in action at Stand 1G05 in hall 1 of the Stuttgart trade fair from 13 to 15. March.

VanRiet has many years of experience in designing and building automated transport and sorting systems, as well as components for intralogistics that stand out through individual adaptability, high throughput numbers and the desire to permanently strengthen the competitiveness of its clients. This makes them ideal for use in the E-Commerce and CEP sectors, which are characterized by short delivery times and high-volume shipments. At the LogiMAT, the system specialist will demonstrate how its systems and components optimize conveyor and sorting processes. ‘Online trade and the market for parcels, express and courier services are important growth drivers for us and we want to expand even more in these areas’, says Rik van den Boog, Managing Director at VanRiet.

One VanRiet solution that is being used in large parcel centers, among other places, is its individually configurable HC sorter. With a conveyor speed of up to 3 meters per second, this shoe sorter can sort 15,000 packages in one hour. Thanks to the closed deck, the HC Sorter has the lowest operating volume in the market. In addition, its maintenance frequency is low thanks to slats on its surface that keep unwanted parts out of the interior.

The international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management in Stuttgart is of strategic importance to VanRiet, especially in the phase of the global expansion of business activities. After having established itself in Germany, the company is now increasingly targeting new markets. The first results of this expansion strategy include branches with sales activities in Poland, in the United States and China, a production unit in China, as well as a growing network of global partners. ‘The LogiMAT fair attracts an international audience, offering us the opportunity to present our solutions to a broad and very interesting target group’, says Van den Boog.

VanRiet can be found at the exhibition in Hall 1, stand 1G05 from 13 to 15 March.
